We recently sponsored an Elvis tribute night held in aid of Chairman’s Appeal for Ashgate Hospice in Chesterfield on Saturday 12th March.
Councillor Martin Thacker, Chairman of Northeast Derbyshire District Council, has been fundraising for the hospice since he was appointed to the role of Chairman in April 2021.
The hospice provides palliative and end-of-life carefree of charge to people of North Derbyshire living with a life-limiting illness, including cancer, neurological diseases, and end-stage heart, kidney, and lung diseases. They also support people’s loved ones to ensure they get the practical, emotional and bereavement support they need.
Held at the Technique Stadium in Chesterfield, Elvis Night saw attendees rock n rolling to a fantastic performance by JD King, the highest-rated and best Elvis tribute artist in the world.
