Local MP cuts the ribbon on brand-new showhomes at Bilsthorpe development

Local MP for Sherwood, Mark Spencer and District Councillor Rhona Holloway officially opened the brand-new showhomes at Harron Homes’ newest Nottinghamshire development, Bilsthorpe Chase, on Saturday 8th October. Mark and Rhona opened the showhomes with a formal ribbon cutting and were met by Harron Homes Marketing Coordinator Robert Clubbe, and Sales Executive Hannah Jackson who gave them a tour around the site and showhomes. Bake off for charity

Last Friday (30th September) we once again supported Macmillan in its quest to create the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning. Colleagues at our Barlborough and Morley offices brought their best cakes to work and competed in a bake-off. The site team at The Grange in Shireoaks also joined in the fun, selling cake and coffees on the day. To mark Roald Dahl Day (13th September), we arranged storytelling sessions at Kingfisher Primary School in Doncaster, close to the newest development, Riverdale Park which is launching this Autumn and at Carlton Primary School in Carlton, close to The Hawthornes.     Roald Dahl Day celebrates the author and his creative children’s books, encouraging primary school children to engage with the wonders of reading and storytelling. Housebuilder raises a tee-rrific amount for Sherwood Hospital

We recently raised £4,000 for Sherwood Forest Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust at our annual corporate golf day. The hospital was chosen in honour of Neil Smith, Contracts Manager for Harron Homes North Midlands, who was diagnosed with a rare form of leukaemia in 2019. Neil has been attending the haematology department and the Welcome Treatment Centre at the Kings Mill Hospital in Sutton in Ashfield, and the funds will be split equally between the two departments, enabling them to continue offering the same high level of care to other patients.
