Leeds based Harron Homes celebrated Yorkshire Day 2021 by inviting locals to submit their best photos of the stunning region to be used in the housebuilders 2022 calendar. Harron Homes to provide £135,000 for Chesterfield community

Harron Homes has pledged to invest £135,000 to the area surrounding its Chesterfield development, Heritage Green as part of its planning agreement with the local authority.   Focussing on the environment, the investment will allocate £40,000 to the maintenance of local green spaces, Tapton and Thistle Park. £95,000 has also been set aside for the creation of a cycle link for local residents. Harron Homes celebrates local sporting history through Chesterfield art project

A new sculpture celebrating local sporting history has been unveiled in Chesterfield. Located at Harron Homes’ Heritage Green development, the sculpture named ‘A Day at the Races’ is inspired by Chesterfield’s history of horse and dog racing. The brick sculpture depicts a traditional carousel blended with race horses and dogs, drawing from the history of horse racing in the town, and the former Chesterfield Sports Stadium previously known as Wheeldon Mill, which opened in around 1939. Harron Homes has welcomed A-Level students from The Joseph Whitaker in Rainworth to its development in Edwinstowe as part of the students’ course field trip.
