Harron thanks construction charity for mental health day

Recognising the increasing importance of mental health in the workplace and in honour of World Mental Health Day on 10th October, we have invested in mental health support across the business. We’ve donated £250 to Lighthouse, the construction industry charity, as a thank you for its invaluable mental health resources, and invested internally too. Harron had a brew for Macmillan

We teamed up across our head offices in Leeds and Chesterfield to host coffee mornings to support Macmillan on Friday 24th September. Colleagues across the region brought their best bakes to work to partake in the World’s Biggest Coffee Morning through selling cakes and competing in a companywide bake-off. Together we raised £241.85, enough to help run Macmillan’s Online Community forum for about 10 hours, offering people affected by cancer both emotional and practical support. Over 1,000 trees to be planted at Harron Homes Yorkshire’s Ripon housing development

We are planting 1,100 trees at our Bishop’s Glade development in Ripon to improve biodiveristy and ecology. After a difficult year, Killinghall C of E Primary school in Harrogate, which is located close to Harron Homes’ King’s Croft development, has celebrated the end of term with a storytelling event provided by the developer.
