Selby community comes together to mark US Independence Day

It’s been a long time since we’ve been able to get together, but with restrictions easing and US Independence Day just ahead of National BBQ Week on the 5th July, it was the perfect opportunity to celebrate with a burger! Harron pledges protection of Yorkshire hedgehogs 

To mark Hedgehog Awareness Week (2nd – 8th May 2021), Harron Homes Yorkshire has donated £400 towards the rescue and rehabilitation of hedgehogs across Yorkshire. The donation has been divided between Shelley Hedgehogs, which is close to Highfield Manor in Huddersfield, and Pricklington Palace in Howden near our York Vale Gardens development.  Shelley Hedgehogs is run by Mel Fitton and is located in the village of Shelley, West Yorkshire. To celebrate National Parks Fortnight, we’ve collaborated with Ripon City Camera Club to share the most picturesque spots in both the market town where our Bishop’s Glade development is located, and of the nearby Yorkshire Dales. As part of the celebrations and commitment to preserving the natural environment, we’ve also donated £200 to the Three Peaks Project, which ensures the trails are maintained and natural beauty of the area conserved for future generations.
