Harron Homes gets spooky ahead of Halloween

In homage to Carlton Playgroup’s annual scarecrow festival last weekend, we joined in the fun with our own scarecrow at The Hawthornes. To help celebrate this event we called on the support of Goole Men in Sheds, who created a fantastic Bob the Builder scarecrow to go outside our sales office. Carlton Playgroup’s annual scarecrow festival is a local event that celebrates the creativity of children and their parents while raising funds for the playgroup itself, which is a charity organisation. This year’s trail, themed around characters from children’s books, saw scarecrows of The Cat in the Hat, Mister Men,...Read more

Colleagues at our Barlborough and Morley offices brought their best cakes to work and together we raised a total of £189.61. This amount is enough to pay for a person affected by cancer to attend a health and wellbeing event, providing them with skills to improve the management of these areas in their lives, and run Macmillan’s Online Community forum for over 3 hours. 98% of Macmillan’s funding comes directly from donations so all contributions make a massive difference to the charity.
