Harron Homes has made a donation to 1st Edwinstowe Guides to mark the launch of Thoresby Country Park, a picturesque new green space that will serve as a vibrant community hub for residents of Edwinstowe.
The Country Park, situated by Harron Homes’ Thoresby Vale development, offers an array of outdoor activities and recreational opportunities, making it a perfect destination for families and nature lovers looking for relaxation or community gatherings.

The 1st Edwinstowe Guides, which has been a cornerstone of the local community for 55 years, is especially excited about the park’s launch.
The donation from Harron will help offset the costs of a trip to Edinburgh, which involves 10 Guides and their leaders participating in a Monopoly challenge with 400 other guiding members.
Any surplus funds from this year’s fundraising activities will be directed towards preparations for the 60th anniversary of the 1st Edwinstowe Brownies next year, the oldest uniformed group in the village. These funds will ensure that the Brownies can continue their long-standing tradition of service and community engagement.
