A donation of hi-vis vests from Harron Homes is helping students at St Joseph’s Catholic Academy in Matlock, close to Harron’s Foresters View development, stay safe in October, Walk to School month.
The initiative is designed to keeps kids moving and consider the amount of air pollution and carbon emissions created daily, and the donation of 78 vests will make sure the year four, five, and six students are seen on their daily travels.
Katherine Chadbourne, Headteacher at St Joseph’s said, “Student safety is always a priority and this donation of hi-vis vests will be very useful in ensuring their continued safety off school premises.”
