Back in medieval times, Bestwood County Park was best known as a hunting estate, and years later was home to one of Britain’s busiest coal mines. The beautiful Wollaton Hall and Deer Park is a wonderful day out, whether you’re looking for an educational museum trip or somewhere gorgeous to walk the dog. Keep an eye on the website for exclusive events year-round, too – the venue is transformed to an open air theatre in the summer months.
Head to Ballers n Hackers for a day out with a difference. Enjoy the driving range, or have a go at something new like footgolf, foot darts or TopGolf.
